Our gender ultrasound is right around the corner! I can't wait. I really have no idea what we'll find out. For a long time I was convinced we're having another boy, but now I'm thinking it might be a girl. Thane would love a little girl, and as you can guess, most of our friends and family are pulling for one too. After two boys, I will be shocked and thrilled if it's a girl. But you know what? Another boy would be wonderful. Occasionally I see a family with three boys and I can't help but admire that. There has got to be something very, very special and unique about having a trio of sons. And I'm sure that you moms of three little girls know exactly what I'm getting at. But anyway, boy OR girl, we can't wait to know! God willing, the ultrasound will go smoothly and I'll be back with the news soon. Want to take a guess?
On another note, how was your Thanksgiving weekend? Ours was truly great {despite lots and lots of driving}. We made it down to Virginia through snow and ice and got a lot of really relaxing, special time with family. And best of all, Thane was here with us this year! You get used to missing lots of holidays with your Army spouse, but the ones you are together for are that much more special. I'm so thankful to God for that.
Now, who's ready for Christmas? I'm definitely playing catch-up after our weekend away, but if I can manage to find the time our tree is going up today!

I vote girl! She would be so pretty like her mom and the boys would be so protective of her. Can't wait to hear!
