Asher and I tried our hand at dying Easter eggs for the first time! Another great perk of him getting a little older. After seeing some beautiful techniques on Pinterest, I have to admit that ours are simple. Super simple. The plan was to add little eye-balls and other fun creature features once the eggs dried, but a combination of Asher cracking and attempting to remove the egg shells, throwing the eggs into the bowls of dye so hard that liquid kept spewing everywhere, and Silas screaming on the floor the entire time led to a quick wrap-up of this activity. But, despite the chaos, I'm so glad we did it! As far as those fancy techniques, maybe next year...
