It's been quite a month! We've been enjoying some time up North and I've barely picked my camera up since we've been back. Partly because we've been busy busy busy catching up with Army friends, tackling house projects {wallpaper removal and paint!}, reapplying for my passport after it was rejected {which turns out to be extremely tedious and time consuming}, and fighting off a two week cold that all three of us battled in some form or another. OH, and Silas has four teeth now! Check out those bottom ones in the last photo.
Other than the above, everyday life is pretty normal and we've settled into some good rhythms. We spend our mornings chatting with Thane, reading the bible together, playing, watching a little Thomas or Curious George. We've been so so blessed to enjoy and be encouraged by the company of our military family {even though we miss everyone in Virginia very much}. This deployment is nearing the halfway point, and it's such an encouragement to know we're not the only ones cherishing what the month of July will bring, God willing.
