There's a first time for everything. This being the first time I've ever made a list of resolutions for the sheer sake that resolutions are made to be broken. {Which is why I especially refuse to list "exercise"- the most cliche one out there- even though I'm doing it anyway.}
For better or worse here we go:
1) Finish an insanely hard 1000 piece puzzle with Thane. {I know, random. This was a "white elephant" gift exchange gift from a Christmas party last week}.
2) Potty train Asher. {This had better be a no-fail, especially if I have a whole year to accomplish it}.
3) SLOW DOWN. Make a conscious effort to become more home oriented, which means less volunteering and "extra-curricular" activites and more time for Jesus & His work, Thane, Asher, and the rest of the family.
4) Systematic bible reading with Asher {started in the book of Psalms and the goal is three chapters a day}.
5) Art! Painting has taken a back seat to all the other busy-ness I referenced in #3.
6) Sew a new cover for my bible.
7) Update this blog and do a better job at keeping family and friends in the loop.
8) Eat more vegan.
8) Eat more vegan.
9) And the most important- strive to be a more humble, loving servant of Christ, to grow in godliness and biblical wisdom, and to share His truth and mercy with many new people- all for the sake of His glory and praise!
"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." {NKJV}

Good luck and Happy New year to all of us!
