Welcome to the tour of our Georgia home! Our time in this house came to an end in the winter of 2013 and I wanted to capture every wonderful nook & cranny before moving. We lived here for two very blessed years and we'll cherish the fact that it was in this home that we grew from a family of two to three. Praise God for the wonderful nest He provided! I'll be {slowly but surely} posting photos room by room, so check back often! And see how we decorated for the Christmas Tour of homes here.

The white ceramic elephant is special because these homes are called the White Elephants. So he will always be a little reminder of a our Georgia house.
A couple of fun facts: the framed black & white illustrations
of animals represent each place we've lived. For example, the deer and
honey bees for Virginia, the cattle and bulls for South Dakota, the sea
turtles for Hawaii, the horses for Kentucky, the armadillo for Georgia,
etc... And {believe it or not} the chevron headboard was a DIY
project a la Thane and I. That's right, my husband, Thane, the combat
arms guy, was largely responsible for this fashionable addition to our
bedroom.
